Reading his book, we very quickly learned much and had another simple and effective tool to, as a community, make our county safer. The expanded goal for our Country can be achieved county by county.

In 1994 he filed a lawsuit challenging the 'Brady bill' to stop the federal government from forcing another unfunded mandate down our throats. He won a decision at the US Supreme Court on the issue of States' rights. That suit catapulted him to national attention, with many television appearances and extensive media coverage. [Ed. Sheriff Mack's book covers decades of research to prove once and for all that the sheriffs in this country are indeed the ultimate law authority in their respective jurisdictions. The sheriff absolutely has the power and responsibility to defend his citizens against all enemies, including those from our own Federal Government.
