Ruth was in an Aladdin Fellowship, then she learned about Wayne Dyer, Richard Bach, and by now was questioning the church doctrine and dogma. She had an interesting time at an East Indian ashram then on to the Theosophical Society co-founded by Madam Blavatsky, and throughout, Ruth felt something was missing. Eventually she went to a Camera Club meeting where she saw Luby and they have been together ever since.

Luby, who came from Bulgaria, was always quietly seeking. It was he who found BTO on the Internet and kept insisting that Ruth listen, finally she did and something stirred in her when she heard Ramtha -that was it! She was going to that school no matter what.

Luby explains what it means to contribute to BTO, "No dough, no show!"  Ruth, having been raised Lutheran, found that her Aladdin experience had her questioning the church.  Meanwhile Luby in Bulgaria, where in spite of its communist beliefs and secrecy kept looking for something else, and Ruth's search took her to many things including sun gazing.   When they first saw each other literally across a crowded room, both new they would be together.  And together they went to an RSE event in Mexico!  Not able now to imagine life without the school, Ruth says... "RSE, It's all about Me!"
