Your privacy is important and protected by us. You write to us, we keep your letters. We like to receive them and we use your email address to reply (often it takes a while:) At times we like to add your comments on our website... but always ask you first.
Here's the usual part: We do not share this information with third parties.
However when you purchase BTO or affiliate items or subscribe to a BTO Membership (both of which we greatly appreciate!) you will be asked for information including name, address, billing information (such as a credit card number - handled by Authorize.net a well known secure system and / or PayPal. We at Beyond the Ordinary dot Net do not see or hold your credit card information). The information collected from our Listeners during the registration or process is used to manage each Membership account (such as for issuing free downloads codes).
Voluntary Listener Surveys: We may at some point conduct both business and individual listener - guests - advertiser, surveys. We appreciate your participation in the possible surveys because they would provide us with important information that helps us to improve the types of programming, products, and services, we offer and how we provide them to you. No personal information would be required other than state or country. And of course your responses, suggestions, and opinions.
We will disclose information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against anyone who may be violating our Acceptable Use Policy or Terms Of Service, or other user policies; to operate the Services properly; or to protect our Work, Guests, Listeners, Sponsors and Advertisers.
Our Commitment to Data Security: Services and Web sites we sponsor have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will absolutely prevent "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information.
