Paul Von Ward is a brilliant author who writes with non-judgmental clarity. Results of his questionnaire on four categories of assumptions give a sense of where humans generally fit into this. The groups we choose whether political, red, blue, or other labels divide us into mutually exclusive world views that are not conducive to good decision making. "What happened some 230 years ago was very significant, a rethinking of what it means to be human, that founding vision was of a new kind of society, it was a conscious creation." The revolution of the founding era in this country was for freedom from the monarchial system of England, authoritarian top down control, then we slowly lost that vision and have come full circle to where we started! "Now we have a non-constitutional government at this point, a centralized authoritarian presidency and a passive, unwilling to challenge authoritarianism, congress." The concept of the origins of this country, of our roots, have faded across generations slowly being replaced with acceptance of this authority in government to the point that citizens and voters don't even know how to express what is wrong. When Paul met JFK in 1959 he was a senator, it was a time of possible renewal that didn't come to be. Now the only candidate who speaks about this is Ron Paul, who gets no media attention. So what was wrong or missing from our Founding Father's idea of a sovereign nation? It made sense back in those days, but what do we know now that we didn't know then? As we learn from our past, Paul explains his striking concept of what needs to be re-articulated into our founding vision in this new wave of change, a wave of at least two choices. Listen Now	November 19th, 2007 "Model of the Soul" Every culture has some sense of soul yet there is no consistent model of it so we can't have agreement on things such as abortion, etc.. The closest Dr. Ian Stevenson's reincarnation research of 40 years came to defining the soul was to suggest the concept of a "container" of the psyche that transcends physical life; Paul expands on this using the term psychoplasm rather than soul as it signifies not only the container but also the contents, using the analogy of the cell ...an energetic entity, with many parts, conscious and aware that makes choices; biologists' experiments on fruit flies reveal something outside of the genes makes conscious choice. The soul, a mechanism for the universe's conservation (memory) of knowledge and experience, that which animates an incarnation bringing its unique energetic state to each lifetime; and evidence that supports this self conscious concept. Listen Now	September 27th, 2007 "The Science of the Soul" Soul is a very old word reaching back to Sanskrit, we all have a sense of it's meaning; there is a new cosmology emerging today, physics labs are being used to bring out this meaning in research; the soul can be seen as an entity, as each cell is, as we are... a self learning organism. How is it that dust particles in deep space form energy patterns that seem to reform and have memory? Scientists are reluctant to talk about what the research is saying, and we continue to make up our own stories about the soul. The tangent -- the problem is understanding each other, even when using the same language it may not be a common vocabulary, we assume our meaning, for example a well read group such as a Mensa group discussing metaphysics. It's even worse when we speak different languages, another example, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Columbia University. "There you had two groups speaking past each other." It was amazing to hear Paul explain what happens to the meaning in translations, rather scary to know there are up to six levels of confusion in a conversation between Bush and Ahmadinejad; the "Tower of Babble" used by Kings to control their people, similar to how we give power to the languages of religions, groups, lawyers, dentists.... The shift in balance of power last November is good, it helps offset the nature of excess; the revolution was to thwart this type of power and return it to the people. Now we have a top/down system run by an elite core. Interestingly, a group of political professionals from 30 years ago, now older and wiser, regret this outcome and created 'Unity 08' (with which Paul is associated). The beginning of special interest in the 60s, a pact with a devil? The Iron Triangle; a huge bureaucracy, 70% goes to overhead, would one run a corporation like that! Let's replace I.Q. with C.Q. (Consciousness Quotient questionnaire on his website). "We have been so conditioned to defer to others, if it comes from "on high" we worship it, we give our power away to it."

A look back at how this word "war" began to be used with other than its traditional meaning, and why? How about that each time a war on anything has been proclaimed it was a diversion by presidents whose reputations were in trouble. All these wars have not only failed but made matters worse, yet with the build up of central unilateral authority of the presidency it is easy to send people to war who have bought into the rhetoric. Has diplomacy become dormant? Why is it, or made to appear, weak? "It doesn't take much in terms of guts to start a war, the bravery comes with the foot soldier, but there is no bravery on the part of an administration. What does take courage is meeting people face to face with whom you have conflicts." Have we lost sight of the big picture, become frightened of stereotypes, and by the way... are we spiritually schizophrenic? The human experience, the origins of supernatural religions (based on an all powerful God separate from us who tells us [through intermediaries] to smite those who do not believe) has created belief systems so far removed from reality that it is no wonder why we can't get along. We have to go way back to find out how we got this way and revise the story we are telling ourselves before we destroy each other! The cultural conditioning creating a sense of a particular people "being chosen" by "The One" God, where every religion says "I found the One!" has gone on so long we no longer are even fully aware it is there. As a species we have to realize how we got so off base regarding the nature of God and how this has been used to maintain psychological power over people who believe they are fallen beings.
