~~~ MJV Spring - Jan, Vera, and Kathy ~~~

MJV stands for Magical, Joyous, Vision. This describes their passion for the beautiful ancient designs adorning the rich quality of their clothing.
Vera Herbst is the fashion expert for MJV Spring, she was born in Cologne, Germany where here family is known for Pelzmodellhaus Herbst, one of Germany’s well-known leaders in the fashion industry. She was the fashion assistant for Gruner and Jahr Publishers, Constanze Women’s Journal, Hamburg, Germany. She was also design consultant for several German apparel companies. Vera began MJV Spring with the intention of bringing together her talents and fashion background, and combine it with new levels of personal growth and development.
Kathleen Hazelton is an artist and also the webmaster for MJV Spring. She attended UC Berkeley, U of A Tucson, and The College of Fine Arts, San Francisco. Her artistry includes music, she was a co-founder and performer with the Oakland Opera Theater. Kathleen recently became a member of the Board of Directors for the Nisqually Regional Arts Council in Yelm, Wa.
Jan Hazelton is the art director and main designer for MJV Spring. Jan studied medical and botanical illustration at the UC, Berkeley and commercial illustration at the Oakland Art Institute under Leland Stanford Morgan. She was featured in the Nature Company, and The Don Conard Gallery in San Francisco, Ca., and was featured in a one hour film entitled “On Being an Artist” for SF University film & television departmentand. Jan is also a new member of the Nisqually Valley Regional Arts Council Yelm, WA.
