~~~ Lois M. Grant, Ph.D. ~~~
Lois Grant at 37, with her children in Junior High, wanted to do more ... so she chose architecture school, which in 1975 was not a common choice for a woman. She earned her degree and made hospital renovation work her specialty. This was around the time of the onset of rheumatoid arthritis, which did not deter her but over the next decades brought increased pain, desperation, deformity, and frustration with treatments that poisoned her body and only alleviated symptoms.
With the goal of healing the arthritis, Lois began her exploration of alternate healing modalities and spiritual practices. Her book, "Spirit at Work, A Journey of Healing" is the story of her personal growth, spiritual and physical healing. She feels strongly that healing takes place from the inside out, and clearly demonstrates that healing of 'incurable' diseases is possible and that Western medicine, with its side effects, is not the only way.
Lois has retired from architecture to teach and counsel those who wish to heal themselves, and to write more books. She named her company Angelic Beings of Light Enterprises, Inc. A.B.L.E. "because I was very disabled, but now I am able." She is a woman youthful in voice and spirit, eager to share what she has learned about illness, its roots in unexamined emotions, and the ability to be well and enjoy life. www.angelicbeingsoflight.com
