"Dance Music for Your Mind"
Studying music all of her life, mostly piano, Divina's dream was to find that someone with whom she could co-create music. As a student of RSE she moved to Washington state to be close to Ramtha's school. At a festival in Tacoma she heard an inspiring and different type of hip-hop with impressive lyrics... and loved what she heard. "After the show I ran up there just wanting to get a CD, and I got the love of my life with the CD! It was the greatest deal ever." Her dream come true. For Douglas one of his favorite things is to listen to piano, "to be able to sit and listen to Divina play the piano in our home is the most beautiful thing in the world." Douglas likes to experiment and has produced seven hip-hop albums & making his own beats. They explain their approach to music, working together, and sharing a vision. "The idea behind our music was to inspire, uplift, and support change." Her idol was J.S. Bach, his genius had a profound effect on her as a child. "Music back then was used to express the sublime rather than to express emotions (like singing the blues today), my dream was to move others in that sublime way." Douglas says "you don't ever want to say someone shouldn't express their feelings through music, but after the third album of expressing hurt and sorrow you think this person could not have had this many breakups!" However the effects of music can be very beneficial, it produces nitric oxide in the brain which creates neuroplasticity. As students of the Great Work, they create their music to induce a light trance state, in that moment where you can dream and imagine beautiful things, it was intended specifically for RSE disciplines C&E® and Focus. "La Forza" is Italian, neither one of them is Italian and they explain why Divina chose that name for their band. Their debut album CD Release Listening Party is March 20th, 7:pm, at the Blue Bottle in Yelm, WA.

Divina Klein and Douglas Mackar. Though they were born on opposite sides of the Earth, raised with different mother tongues, and were nurtured by different musical styles, Divina & Douglas have come together in Yelm, WA to form a union of souls that share a common passion to create. Divina, a classically trained pianist from Vienna, Austria, a city rich with musical tradition. Douglas, who has produced for underground hip-hop artists and released 7 independent albums, from Cleveland, Ohio, the birthplace of Rock-n-Roll. Both were deeply moved and inspired by music at an early age. Both dreamed of one day creating music that could inspire others the way music had inspired them throughout their lives- an inspiration at soul level- to connect to eternity.
