Marty Collins, founder of Santa Cruz based Digital Media Factory, a multi-business facility for the development, production, management, and distribution of digital media products, is the Co-Producer and Director of Photography on the Picture. Mr. Collins has over 37 years of cinematography experience in all media formats, including 35mm, 16mm, HD, DV, Beta, and as a steadicam operator. Some of his theatrical Cinematographer credits include The Dead Pit (1989), Still Waters Burn (1996), and Blur (2007 post-production). He is also credited as steadicam operator on "Men at Work", and as second unit photographer on Stephen King's "The Lawnmower Man".

Mr. Collins is also highly skilled in creative development and all phases of production and post-production for television and motion pictures. "A Field of Dreams"
Getting to know the two filmmakers of "Programming the Nation?" we find a great group behind the film, where Jeff's Ignite Productions meets Marty's Digital Media Factory and finally this excellent, honest, and multi layered documentary that went from coast to coast for interviews is made. It's not just the high quality technology, skills, and creativity that can produce a top-notch film like this one, and it's not from Hollywood... it's the people and their genuine desire to inform and raise consciousness in the viewers, as Jeff says, "there is power in knowledge, then subliminal tactics are not so powerful." Marty's Factory includes community building, teaching, mentoring, and internship program adorned with professionals, mentors that create a field of dreams and great opportunities for young people to explore and expand their creative genius! "It's exciting to bring brilliant minds from schools, and bring out street professors, then we have a collective power of the people." Such as the 21 year old green screen wizard who came in at 19 and whose work on this film so impressed Jeff. "There is a magic about this!" Marty also sees this film being studied in many venues. Jeff tells us he had no idea how it was going to be done, the funding, the very complex legal issues, so he just kept going, "it was like if you build it they will come, (the 'Field of Dreams' again), if you have a dream and you go for it, it will happen." It did and it was the most incredible professional experience of his life.

"Programming The Nation?"
Eldon Taylor joins Jeff Warrick producer and director of the documentary "Programming The Nation?" a very well done film that simply asks the question; does subliminal technology influence human behavior. Eldon, who was interviewed for the film says, "It's a very honest film." You will see how powerful subliminal programming is and how much it is employed. About Jeff, his background, founding Ignite productions, and when he began looking critically at the world. He thought "popcorn" in theatres was an urban legend, yet his research led to so much more than just advertising, such as presidential elections. In the virtual world of little children all ads are subliminal --and targeting youngsters is on the rise. You will hear how and why children are so easily affected, especially important for parents to hear. Jeff's calls to numerous ad agencies inviting their comment, most mute to his request, resulted in a couple of quirky reactions.... In this hour, and much more so in the documentary, you will gain understanding of how these techniques are used. With knowledge you have choices and can better protect your children from being impressed by undesirable content.
