The Apollo 14 mission was NASA's third manned lunar landing. This historic journey ended safely nine days later on February 9, 1971. It was an audacious time in the history of mankind. For Mitchell, however, the most extraordinary journey was yet to come."

That journey of inner exploration is wonderful!  It is a glimpse into the mind and experiences available to humanity, and the beginning of the Institute of Noetic Sciences which he founded to sponsor research into the nature of consciousness as it relates to cosmology and causality. In 1984, he was a co-founder of the Association of Space Explorers, an international organization of those who have experienced space travel.

"The 29th Day, the Moon, and Quantum Holography"
Yep the lily pond is in the 29th day, the economic situation is attributed to human greed, we may be on the verge of very deep recession. People who are looking at this seriously, as is Dr Mitchell, are reshaping thinking as regards to Earth and living green. You needn't be labeled a liberal fanatic when pointing out what is happening with ice caps, rain forest, overloaded population, and climate change. We have to look at solar, wind, and especially the holy grail of energy...zero point energy. Science has to be advanced but has been slowed down by oil greed. "There are many things we can still do." His appearances on Larry King which ignited a media blitz around the world, he was inundated with calls! Then he takes us back to the longest walk on the Moon, you can almost see what he saw as he describes in detail climbing up Cone Creator. Some folks think we never went to the Moon... "You think the Soviets would ever let us fake something like that?" Ha ha not likely. After 400 years our materialistic based science is beginning to approach quantum consciousness. "Intuition, the 6th sense --should be called the 1st sense, as quantum information is non-local and basic, but more emphasis has always been on rational mind rather than intuitive mind." They actually have the math now to handle that non-local aspect of consciousness, and explaining the phenomena of consciousness with Quantum Holography. And his favorite story especially for youngsters about an amazing transformation in only 99 years!

"Sustainability: Vital in Our Consciousness"
"I have been talking about this for 30 years but nobody wanted to listen."   We'd better listen now!  Every measure of human activity is on a major growth curve... like water lilies growing exponetially, when will the pond which can contain only 30 days of growth, be full? On the 29th day.  What can be done then? Start culling lillies.  Humanity is at the 29th day.  "The first thing is to wake up that this is a problem that will affect every individual person, every individual family."  The world can support only 2 billion people based on Western consumption rate, and the west has become a leader in obesity!   This is a global issue, not a party issue, do we have to wait for the really bad disasters?   We have to think beyond our ego needs to the greater good, elect environmentally friendly politicians, and stop seeing this as some problem outside of ourselves that someone else will fix for us!   "We are coming to the crunch point... A wake up call will happen if we don't do something pretty soon."

In the aftermath of "Wilma", housing his neighbors (and their 5 dogs!) Dr. Edgar graciously took time to talk to us about his profound experience - a sense of interconnectedness with everything, while traversing 245,000 miles of space on his way home. Ever since he has explored the nature of consciousness (something we *all* share) with new eyes. How does consciousness come to be? The incredible inviting beauty and peacefulness of our planet viewed from space is so contradictory to what we know is happening on it... "Spaceship Earth has a mutinous crew... we need to create a way to get past this stage." For the first time in history we have the technology to destroy Earth and we have an unsustainable civilization. Also... telepathy from space, Zero Point Energy, Quantum Holograms and their event history that ancient mystics knew of as the Akashic Records...
