Dr. Charles Strong makes it easy and interesting for us to better understand the Body/Mind connection. Not only do we receive well researched information not readily available to us, information that allows us ato be well informed and able to make intelligent choices, we also learn how our bodies function best and how we can keep ourselves in excellent health.

We went from being patients to being consumers: What's behind all this marketing, directly to the public, of a wide variety of prescription drugs?. Dr. Strong brings us the story behind the marketing. He gives us the information we need to judge the source, efficacy and supposed need of products so effectively marketed, they can say that half the persons taking it may "experience adverse, even fatal reactions".... And they continue to sell, else billions would not be spent on advertising.

Dr. Charles Strong continues with the theme of practical and achievable ways of improving our lives. He always brings us the latest research on varied topics, such as ADD and safe alternatives to Ridlin, and in some instances findings from long ago that were not publicized as they should have been, but always information that is important for us to have.

Highly toxic mercury is routinly used as a preservative for innoculations that are given to newborn babies as well as adults, possibly the reason for the rise in autism? We devoted one evening to the Nervous System. We forget what we once knew about how the body works. In doing that, it is easy to neglet, ignore, and at times abuse it...and then wonder why life is not that much fun right now. We learned about the three types of stress - Mechanical, Chemical, and psychological - the causes, effects, and the remedies.  Other very important topics covered in these talks: Vaccinations and Inoculations: Apart from the debate of are all of them necessary and/or effective, there are more urgent questions. Why is mercury the preservative used? Causing the infant to have levels much, much higher than the FDA's accepted "safe" standard? Some research points to the possible connection of mercury and autism.
