In the beginning..... The beginning of all of our processing is the word. Or words, rather - actually
excessively large amounts of them. Totals of words beyond all reason. These then
are distilled down into a thick syrupy mass and placed in an inadequate visual
display and from there interpretation proceeds.

Clif, creator of Adventures in Future Viewing AKA the Web Bot Project and the resulting ALTA 'asymetric language trend analysis' Reports. The method, technique used is based on radical linguistics that reduce extracts from readings of dynamic postings on the internet, those words & phrases then go into a huge archetypical database, devised by Clif, a system of associations between words and 'emotional impact indicators' (applied numeric values to words, which are not static.) "The detail layers suggest vast changes across the whole of the social order on this planet in 2008. And on other planets in our solar system as well. Leaving our solar neighbors out of the picture for just now, the details suggest that meta data levels of activity here on Terra will combine to produce alterations at such levels as to affect *all* of daily life in this year. It will start and end with food production. That the effort is doomed to fail will not deter them from wasting vast quantities of the planet's dwindling resources in the attempt. They are truly desperate people now. And the data sets point to the [desperation] rising at a very rapid rate from the [vernal equinox, spring] onward."
