Cheryl Nichols has been teaching kinder class (pre-school) and kindergarten, at the Children's School of Excellence for five years, and loves working with students just learning to read and write. In the "Mind Lab" Cheryl works with children from kinder to 8th grade. Prior to CSE she volunteered in public schools and also worked with children diagnosed with autism. Cheryl is excited to help the school expand and develop connections with the community. One example is the Electives program, giving everyone in the community with a talent, a skill, and the desire, the opportunity of teaching something they love to the children.
The school, in a beautiful ten acres allowing for a variety of exciting activities, is a non-profit private school, situated near Rainier, Washington. They offer classes in kindergarten through eighth grade. In addition to providing a Washington State approved curriculum, CSE's founding premise is:
