~~~ Bryan Harroun ~~~

Prior to injuring his back in 2000 Bryan Harroun was a professional bread baker, "A Master of his Craft" he was baking "Artisan" Breads a decade before the term was coined.   Back then it was simply Old World, or Classic European breads, or simply "San Francisco Sourdough".  He learned from a true Master, Monsieur Jerrard Leraburu, the last family member/Head Baker of the Leraburu Bakery once located in San Francisco's Pacific Heights/Clement Street district.  He really insisted that Bryan become his apprentice because he said Bryan was a natural and wasting his talent at Culinary School.  That was 1986.

Bryan is now married with a son, three year-old Quinn.   After attending his first Beginning Event at Ramtha's School of Enlightenment - listen to his story - a verification that we can change our lives, 'impossible' circumstances notwithstanding.   Now, even the financial obstacles have been resolved and Bryan can pursue his passion for 'Artisan Breads', and the fact that his wife Lyra has maintained the starter that he was given by his teacher (which is documented as far back as 1848) makes the dream a soon reality, he is excited about baking for the first time in 5 years.   "I can't even begin to express what that really means to me."    Photo: Quinn & dad.   Seeing Bryan (also known as JP) we can say "yup, he looks just right for having been bartender for the 'Grateful Dead' concert tours" given evolution we may have a photo update, but we'll keep adorable Quinn.

"With Joy and a Light Heart"
 It is profound to listen to a man on the cusp of a remarkable new life, one who grew up with violent alcoholics and escaped that only to enter a life of drug abuse, trauma, suicide attempts and injuries that led to years of heavy meds including large doses of morphine.  The shift happened in the middle of his Beginning retreat at Ramtha's school.  No more debilitating pain or craving for the addictive meds, not even for smoking - all changed within eight days.  He came to it with no expectations, only passion "When I came across the teachings [White Book & tapes] I was on fire!" also realizing that until then the only passion he'd felt had been for the art of Artisan bread baking.   About RSE he says, "If you want to know, you got to go!
