Dear BTO Listeners,
February 23th, 2010 BTO paid membership will start within 48 hours, it will be required to continue listening to the 'audio on demand' archives. At present the Live & Archive streams will remain free. Note that new archives are now not included in the Archive Stream until they are over 90 days old. With 24/7 back to back talk on the Archive Stream we can only air 168 archives per week (out of 1000s) and there are many more than that available, so each week is a different random mix. Once archives are over 90 days old they will be added to the mix. Important note to our Warriors of Unlimited Mind: We have already created your memberships in our new system! We emailed instructions regarding your membership and login information. A few emails bounced or were rejected by your spam filter, and for a few of you we have only physical addresses, a letter has been mailed. So if you did not receive your email titled "BTO: Important Message!" or you did receive it and you replied to us and you did not get an answer (spam filter...? ...because we reply to all) please Contact Us! And make sure that nancy at beyondtheordinary.net and elena at beyondtheordinary.net are in your 'whitelist' 'or passlist.' All Members: Please see our How Our Membership Works page for details. Also, on this page you can see the BTO Membership Levels and options. You may create your Membership NOW and get set up ahead of time so you will have no problems when you go to hear the next archive and have to login! If you are new to our program then listen to the Archive Stream for a while, it also has a weekly schedule at our Audio Launch Center and that should help you decide if you wish to become a BTO Member. TO ALL: We love this Quantum Community we are creating together! We love when you write to us for any reason, your comments, questions, ideas, contemplations, and experiences, (many listeners are BTO guests because they shared their story with us) and we love that. People do not have to have a famous name to be heard and for their story to inspire all! And it has, as so many times people have written "I listened to... and I thought I was the only one... thank you so much for your program, you have changed my life!" This is not an ordinary radio station, we like knowing you, and we reply to every email we receive. Well, once in a while one goes "in the crack" so if you don't get a response then yell at us! The BTO Basic Membership is to keep the 747 above the ground, the higher levels are there to allow it to grow to 3 million listeners - that is our focus, to reach such a mass that will make it easy to change the world and create the future into what we know it can be. November 5th, 2009: We are having Great Winds here in the Great North West again! We have lost power and so far our backup generator is keeping BTO going. The streams could drop during the evening, just focus that they don't! This will only affect the LIVE Streams, the audio on demand archives will not be interrupted by this storm. October 30th, 2009: Tonight we are having Great Winds here in the Great North West! We just had our DSL go down for a short while from a power failure, so there could be more power failures during the evening. This will only affect the LIVE Streams, the audio on demand archives will not be interrupted by this storm. September 27th, 2009: Work is needed on systems & equipment for the Live stream. We will post here any down-time we anticipate. Past shows will air at noon during this time. Ramtha teachings will continue as usual -unless problems occur. Our apologies & gratitude! September 4th, 2009: BTO iPhone App for your iPhone and iPod Touch is Available! Now you can listen to BTO Live and BTO Archive 24/7 streams wherever you go - just download our brand new iPhone app from the iTunes store and install. Click Here for Details! After your download please post your Review of the BTO iPhone app! August 14th, 2009: BTO will be available on your iPhone around the end of August or sooner!!! There will be a FREE download in the iTunes store, we will let you know when it is ready to grab. This is a beautiful app for the iPhone created by Liquid Air Labs with unique technology! You tell us how COOL it is once you see it, OK? After that, BTO will also be on Blackberry and Android phones with the same technology from Liquid Air Labs. Be sure that you check your iPhone AT&T cell phone plan for streaming audio so you don't get surprised with a huge cell phone bill! The good thing is we stream at a VERY low bit rate, 32kbps, and in STEREO! In fact our new AAC+ stereo stream at our Audio Launch Page on Server 2 is the same stream that will go to the iPhone and the other phones. (all our streams have always been at this low bit rate so dialup listeners can listen to BTO too!). After nearly 4 years, this is a BTO Dream Realized!

August 10th, 2009: If you cannot connect to SERVER 1 for Clif's program Tuesday noon pacific, or any other programs in the future, please use SERVER 2 which has room for you to connect, it has a choice of playing the Ogg or the AAC+ stream. Windows media Player can play Ogg and/or ACC+ by installing a plugin. Go to our Audio Launch Page Here to download the plugin for Windows Media Player. We recommend that you make sure you can connect to SERVER 2 ahead of time to avoid missing any live programming in the event that SERVER 1 fills up. July 17th, 2009: Windows Media Player  can now play our Ogg Stereo 24hr Streams on our Audio Launch Page! Download the Ogg pluggin for WMP at our How to Listen page and enjoy our stereo music! Remember, even dialups can listen to our streams, if the audio is pausing (buffering) go to our trouble shooting page here: Modem Users and/or Older PC's.
July 7th, 2009: If you couldn't listen to Clif today it's because the response maxed out our server! If that happens next time then switch to the Ogg Stereo Port 80 stream on Server 2 at our Audio Launch page, that is a different server and will have room for you. Go to our How to Listen page for information on how to listen to Ogg Vorbis streams. We apologize for the inconvenience, this sudden burst of interest was unexpected! July 6th, 2009: The archive stream, Studio 3, will now be back-to-back hours of our most recent guest interviews, no music hours, tune in any time for talk! June 20th, 2009: New Warrior of Unlimited Mind membership through Authorize.net! Now our contributors have an alternative to Paypal. All voluntary memberships created prior to when our pay to listen membership system is in place will retain this special membership with BTO. Why are we going to a paid membership? In order to continue we have to balance the currency of time and energy required to produce BTO with the currency of energy (dollars) that comes back to it. As much as we love you voluntary Warriors for your efforts we have to implement paid memberships to balance the scale. See our new Authorize.Net membership selections here!

April 23rd, 2009: The archive server was down this afternoon for a little while, the techs found it was over heating and shutting down to protect itself, the power supply has been replaced. So we should again enjoy are solid and consistent uptime that we all are used to! April 19th, 2009: Apr 20 UPDATE: ALL Archives and Ogg streams are now working! We are having a problem with our audio on demand archive server, this also affects our Ogg streams, all other live streams are fine. We have contacted support and are waiting for the server to be back up! Thanks for your patience! Nancy & Elena. April 20th through May 1st, 2009: No LIVE Programs We tell you to take the time to prepare, prepare... we must do the same! So we take this time to work the land, make repairs, & "batten the hatches" ...we'll be back with more for you! N & E March 24-25th. 2009: We are having a problem with our audio on demand archive server, this also affects our Ogg streams, all other live streams are fine. February 25th. 2009: Everything was fine while we were gone EXCEPT some of our MP3 downloads are missing. We are working with support to get them all restored. February 7th. 2009: We will be out of the studio Feb 12 through March 1st. Since we, your hosts, are also the producers, engineer, webmasters... If you experience problems with mp3 downloads or purchases on our site we will take care of them promptly when we return, and will catch up on e-mail as quickly as possible. Orders that require shipping will be sent after March 1st. The Live streams are very reliable as you know, and should run without interruption, however if they drop they may be off the air until we return. The on demand archives will remain working as usual. September 15: The Synchronized Global Om BTO observes the Global Om at 4pm pacific time. On the Live stream in Studio One will air 13 mins of the "Prayer for Peace" and the "Global Om" which will be followed by the scheduled Ramtha teaching. On the Archive stream in Studio Three for the entire hour of 4pm the Global Om will repeat in English and Portuguese. September 12: Listener's question: Just Wondering - It says on your website that today's CD was The Plane Of Bliss Part Two Day 2 & 3, yet you stated it was Part One Day 2 & 3. Answer: Hi Damien, This one confuses us! So we listed the whole thing (12 CD's in three cd sets) on our page at http://www.beyondtheordinary.net/audio2007.shtml to help us keep it straight! "The Plane of Bliss-Part two" has 5 parts and was a separate event done months later. I'm sure that made things clear as mud! Hugs, -- Nancy :-) August 20: Archived Talk Shows appearing again on the Archive Stream! Yes it's true, not very many yet but every even hour runs a BTO archived program, every odd hour is "Focus" music where you can meditate, focus, contemplate, whatever you like during this "quiet" time. We will be adding more archives so the variety will be increasing soon! July 29: Beginning this Monday, July 30th, the BTO stream will be filled with music again! After two weeks the situation has not changed, it could go on for months. The royalty rate issue threatens not only webcasters but independent musicians who rely on them to have their music heard. So BTO is has reestablished the music stream with only our select independent musicians, and we intend to keep them there! We thank them in this effort to keep the unique diversity of music on the web. July 22: The AUDIO ON DEMAND ARCHIVES are now available again! After nine days of waiting since July 15th and still no progress has been made it looks like the "negotiations" between Webcasters and Sound Exchange could last for months... We decided to make the on demand archives available even though they contain music otherwise the editing would take weeks before we could get them available for you again. We contemplated this and the decision weighed in your favor as we are first a talk program bringing knowledge and information to our listeners. Keep checking here for BTO updates.
