Nothing we can do about that, but the good news is when that happens we still can record the show and so the archive will be available. If you are not a supporting member of BTO please consider it, when things like this happen you will always have access to the archived programs. The price of purchasing one mp3 program at BTO is the equivalent price of our Basic Monthly Membership where you have access to all eleven years of archives! If you can sign up for $10/month or more that is even better as memberships are what BTO relies on to keep this program going. December 4, 2011, Our BTO Streams & email went Down! All OK Now! On Sunday at 12:30pm pacific time our DSL went down for 24 hours and was back up by 12:23pm on Monday the 5th. BTO Live & Archive streams and email were down, BTO websites were up and the BTO Arhcive server for members to listen was up. This is rare for our DSL provider FairPoint Comununcations to take this long to resolve this problem, and we intend to look into this with them to see how this long down time can be avoided in the future. We are indeed coming into the times of adventures! Our intent is to keep BTO going as long as we can, and we highly thank our supporting BTO Members who are making that possible! If you are not a member please consider it as we do need more members! June 29-30, 2011, ATTENTION MEMBERS & LISTENERS: The power failure caused damage to our Live Streaming machine as well as one of our critical internal machines. The Archive stream is working fine. Our BTO site is fine, our Archive server is fine, so let it be known that if the BTO studio looses power it doesn't mean the BTO site is down nor are the archives down, it mostly means that the Live Streams are down. We are working around the clock to get the Live Stream back up as we know from the emails so far that you are missing the Ramtha teachings! The power failure, was actually caused by a woman who crashed into a "phone pole" very close to our lane, fortunately no one was hurt! For sometime now we have had shot batteries on our power backup system, our second backup, the diesel generator, wouldn't start which is something we have been working on for a few days, but we had not yet resolved that problem when the power failure came so the BTO studio went down. We highly praise our Pugent Sound Energy electric company, their crew had to replace the broken pole and reconnect the power and they did this in less than 5 hours! UPDATE: 3am June 30, The Live Stream machine is up now!!! We love you, our BTO listener Community out there, thank you for your patience!

Love & Hugs, (this is color of Love today!) -- Nancy & Elena July 28th, 2010 Pinned at the Top: Important Message for BTO Members & BTO list Subscribers who use Yahoo !Mail or Hotmail...! Yahoo !Mail and Hotmail has been "deprioritizing" almost every mail server that sends email to their mail servers. Since at least March 2010 90% of our Yahoo and Hotmail users who have subscribed to our weekly schedule list and BTO Members to whom we send login information and txn receipts, are not receiving BTO email! For weeks we have been in contact with Yahoo but they give no solution. The bottom line is Yahoo and Hotmail are deciding for you what is spam and what is ham. The ham in the "spam" such as email from BTO will be blocked and you will not have the choice to accept or reject them because you will never see the email! New members will think BTO is ignoring them, not true! What can you do? Our first suggestion is, do not use Yahoo or Hotmail! Get away from them and use something else. Most people have no idea how much email they are missing, including individual personal email! Second suggestion is you can look at your Yahoo or Hotmail "filters" to make sure these mail servers are not blocked, and that these email addresses are in your white list: beyondordinary.beyondtheordinary.net beyondtheordinary.net worf.wizardbythesea.com nancy at beyondtheordinary.net elena at beyondtheordinary.net info at beyondtheordinary.net trouble at beyondtheordinary.net nancy at wizardbythesea.com elena at wizardbythesea.com The above is no guarantee that you will begin to receive BTO email. If you choose a new e-address other than Yahoo or Hotmail, here is what you can do: BTO Members using PayPal: Change your primary e-address in your PayPal account, check your subscription to make sure your new e-address is used. BTO Members using Authorize.net: Login to BTO and use the "Modify Profile" button to change your e-address. BTO Members list and Weekly Schedule List use the "Change your email address" link at the bottom of any list email, if you do not have that, then write to us and we will change your email address for you. Yahoo and Hotmail do not follow the Internet RFC rules set up years ago for mail servers to work consistently and insure email delivery. Their actions are insidious as instead of bouncing emails they do not deliver them and tell our server that the message has been delivered, then a few minutes later our server is told the message was deleted. Receiving no bounced email the mail server administrator does not know their members are not receiving the email - unless they are reading 1000s of mail server log entries daily! We discovered this in May and found it went back to before March! This is why it is important that email not delivered, for any reason, needs to be bounced back to the sender so we know about it. But Yahoo and Hotmail are silent about it so nobody knows... by googling "Yahoo (or Hotmail) rejects email" we found 1000s of people running innocent servers, like BTO who do not spam, being blocked for no valid reason. Many running memberships are loosing members, as has BTO, because of this inability to deliver new member's login information. Your questions and comments on this are welcome, and if you do not receive a reply you will know why! ~~~ START OF REGULAR ANNOUNCMENTS ~~~< Dear BTO Listeners, June 14th, 2010: ABOUT the ARCHIVE SERVER DOWNTIME! This year our downtime on the Archive Server has been unusually frequent, for years we have enjoyed a constant 99% uptime! The problems are not the server itself but connection issues with our service provider's data center having major power outages from big snow storms and router failures. So the Archive server is sitting there running just fine but nobody can connect to it! These are things our service provider cannot control, they are not happy about this either and are diligently working with the data center to reduce these downtime issues. As for the Archive server itself, it is a unique and very fast system that can handle huge amounts of concurrent connections so all members can connect at any time and it also provides massive room for BTO to grow. So tell all your friends about BTO, let's see how fast we can max out this server! :-) UPDATE MAY 13: The BTO iPhone app upgrade is up! GOOD NEWS for iPhone Listeners! The BTO iPhone app with the new connections to our live and archive streams is available since May 13th, if you downloaded the iPhone app before that date go to iTunes and get the updated app. A red dot will appear on your iTunes icon in iPhone which means a new update is ready to install. Let Nancy know any questions or comments on the iPhone. April 26th, 2010: iPhone Users: Due to an emergency server change by our stream host the iPhone connections will not be available as of April 28th for an undetermined length of time. We will do the best we can to reduce the down time for iPhone listeners. Yahoo Mail Users: We discovered a couple of weeks ago that Yahoo has been blocking all our email to Yahoo MAIL users for several weeks due to user complaints. There are no user complaints and we have written numerous times to Yahoo support and no relief from them! This could be discrimination, censorship or a simple mistake, we do not know. If you are not receiving the BTO Weekly Schedule to which you subscribed, then please contact Yahoo and tell them you want email from our mail servers: beyondtheordinary.net beyondordinary.beyondtheordinary.net and worf.wizardbythesea.com. BTO Members who use Yahoo Mail are also not receiving our replies, we are not ignoring you ...and if you have an alternative email address please send it to us so we can communicate with you. February 23th, 2010 BTO paid membership will start within 48 hours, it will be required to continue listening to the 'audio on demand' archives. At present the Live & Archive streams will remain free. Note that new archives are now not included in the Archive Stream until they are over 90 days old. With 24/7 back to back talk on the Archive Stream we can only air 168 archives per week (out of 1000s) and there are many more than that available, so each week is a different random mix. Once archives are over 90 days old they will be added to the mix. Important note to our Warriors of Unlimited Mind: We have already created your memberships in our new system! We emailed instructions regarding your membership and login information. A few emails bounced or were rejected by your spam filter, and for a few of you we have only physical addresses, a letter has been mailed. So if you did not receive your email titled "BTO: Important Message!" or you did receive it and you replied to us and you did not get an answer (spam filter...? ...because we reply to all) please Contact Us! And make sure that nancy at beyondtheordinary.net and elena at beyondtheordinary.net are in your 'whitelist' 'or passlist.' All Members: Please see our How Our Membership Works page for details. Also, on this page you can see the BTO Membership Levels and options. You may create your Membership NOW and get set up ahead of time so you will have no problems when you go to hear the next archive and have to login! If you are new to our program then listen to the Archive Stream for a while, it also has a weekly schedule at our Audio Launch Center and that should help you decide if you wish to become a BTO Member. Now you can listen to BTO Live and BTO Archive 24/7 streams wherever you go - just download our brand new iPhone app from the iTunes store and install. Click Here for Details! After your download please post your Review of the BTO iPhone app! August 14th, 2009: BTO will be available on your iPhone around the end of August or sooner!!! There will be a FREE download in the iTunes store, we will let you know when it is ready to grab. This is a beautiful app for the iPhone created by Liquid Air Labs with unique technology! You tell us how COOL it is once you see it, OK? After that, BTO will also be on Blackberry and Android phones with the same technology from Liquid Air Labs. Be sure that you check your iPhone AT&T cell phone plan for streaming audio so you don't get surprised with a huge cell phone bill! The good thing is we stream at a VERY low bit rate, 32kbps, and in STEREO! In fact our new AAC+ stereo stream at our Audio Launch Page on Server 2 is the same stream that will go to the iPhone and the other phones. (all our streams have always been at this low bit rate so dialup listeners can listen to BTO too!). After nearly 4 years, this is a BTO Dream Realized!

August 10th, 2009: If you cannot connect to SERVER 1 for Clif's program Tuesday noon pacific, or any other programs in the future, please use SERVER 2 which has room for you to connect, it has a choice of playing the Ogg or the AAC+ stream. Windows media Player can play Ogg and/or ACC+ by installing a plugin. Go to our Audio Launch Page Here to download the plugin for Windows Media Player. We recommend that you make sure you can connect to SERVER 2 ahead of time to avoid missing any live programming in the event that SERVER 1 fills up. July 17th, 2009: Windows Media Player  can now play our Ogg Stereo 24hr Streams on our Audio Launch Page! Download the Ogg pluggin for WMP at our How to Listen page and enjoy our stereo music! If that happens next time then switch to the Ogg Stereo Port 80 stream on Server 2 at our Audio Launch page, that is a different server and will have room for you. June 20th, 2009: New Warrior of Unlimited Mind membership through Authorize.net! Now our contributors have an alternative to Paypal. All voluntary memberships created prior to when our pay to listen membership system is in place will retain this special membership with BTO. Why are we going to a paid membership? April 23rd, 2009: The archive server was down this afternoon for a little while, the techs found it was over heating and shutting down to protect itself, the power supply has been replaced. February 7th. 2009: We will be out of the studio Feb 12 through March 1st. Since we, your hosts, are also the producers, engineer, webmasters... If you experience problems with mp3 downloads or purchases on our site we will take care of them promptly when we return, and will catch up on e-mail as quickly as possible. September 15: The Synchronized Global Om BTO observes the Global Om at 4pm pacific time. On the Live stream in Studio One will air 13 mins of the "Prayer for Peace" and the "Global Om" which will be followed by the scheduled Ramtha teaching. On the Archive stream in Studio Three for the entire hour of 4pm the Global Om will repeat in English and Portuguese. September 12: Listener's question: Just Wondering - It says on your website that today's CD was The Plane Of Bliss Part Two Day 2 & 3, yet you stated it was Part One Day 2 & 3. Answer: Hi Damien, This one confuses us! So we listed the whole thing (12 CD's in three cd sets) on our page at http://www.beyondtheordinary.net/audio2007.shtml to help us keep it straight! "The Plane of Bliss-Part two" has 5 parts and was a separate event done months later. I'm sure that made things clear as mud! Hugs, -- Nancy :-) August 20: Archived Talk Shows appearing again on the Archive Stream! Yes it's true, not very many yet but every even hour runs a BTO archived program, every odd hour is "Focus" music where you can meditate, focus, contemplate, whatever you like during this "quiet" time. We will be adding more archives so the variety will be increasing soon! July 29: Beginning this Monday, July 30th, the BTO stream will be filled with music again! After two weeks the situation has not changed, it could go on for months. The royalty rate issue threatens not only webcasters but independent musicians who rely on them to have their music heard. So BTO is has reestablished the music stream with only our select independent musicians, and we intend to keep them there! We thank them in this effort to keep the unique diversity of music on the web. July 22: The AUDIO ON DEMAND ARCHIVES are now available again! After nine days of waiting since July 15th and still no progress has been made it looks like the "negotiations" between Webcasters and Sound Exchange could last for months... We decided to make the on demand archives available even though they contain music otherwise the editing would take weeks before we could get them available for you again. We contemplated this and the decision weighed in your favor as we are first a talk program bringing knowledge and information to our listeners. Keep checking here for BTO updates.
